Poured from 473mL can. Slightly hazy gold with near white head. Citrus hops with just a hint of weed, sticky biscuit malt for some sweetness. Alcohol very hidden. Lacks finesse, but still quite good.

16 ounce can. Pours a super hazy orange hue, looks like orange juice. A big fresh hop nose, citrus. Big sweet hops, oranges, some light husky toast. Very nice.

Tasting at Matt's, can
Cloudy light amber colour. The aroma is a bit citrusy and dirty. Bold body, moderately sweet, chewy malts base, the hopping is juicy, citrusy, dank; touch of berries.
Very good, but also dirty.

Pint can. Pours a dirty copper with light head. Aromas of burnt orange and doughy malts. Flavors follow same with additional estery mashed fruit and a bit of pithy orange.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, lots of yeast, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines with dank hops, lots of yeast, some orange rind, and biscuity malt. Yeasty and a bit chalky on the palate. Okay.

Can - Sticky citrus and some tropical notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sticky, fruity sweetness and a long citrus finish. I have the feeling I didn't get this as fresh as I should have.

Muddy tan. Papaya hop, touch of alcohol and touch of malt. Thin head. Deep weedy, piney hops. The yeast actually cuts some of the harshness of the alcohol, actually.

Draft 13 oz pour at Hop and Hound. This is my long day at work, and already missed the start of the Mariners game, cure. Works nicely! Three Magnets is one of my favorite IPA brewers in the NW, so the expectation that these will be good is set in, and I can’t think of a time where they really disappointed. No exception with this imperial. Thick, orange juice like pour. Full of juicy citrus aroma and flavor. How can an 8.5% be so smooth? Amazing. Creamy, orange over citrus, vanilla cool. Basically what I wish for in an imperial. Delicious.
