Hazy tan. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, a little melon, cantaloupe stuff. Low bitterness, yeasty, and then kicks in with some melon and some citrusy bitterness in the finish.

Muddy tan. Papaya hop, touch of alcohol and touch of malt. Thin head. Deep weedy, piney hops. The yeast actually cuts some of the harshness of the alcohol, actually.

Nice black colour. Nice and chocolatey with some fudge. Bitterness, all kinds of sweetness, really nice stout. Great pocket of sessionability.

500mL can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out cheap corn, light floral hops, biscuity malt and alcohol. Flavour doesnt seem like a malt liquor, with dry floral hops, light corn, and biscuity malt. Sweet cereal malt on the finish. Wow - really good.

Can from Beer Junction. Golden. It does have a rough alcohol nose - gluey pale malts, with a hit of citra. Bitter, with a fairly nice pale malt note, lots of citra, of course way too much bitterness for the malt liquor style. I’m down.

Clear to gray waxed 22oz bomber, courtesy of riversideAK, pours with a slightly murky amber brown body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up booze, boozy bourbon and then molasses drizzled graham cracker and sticky malt covered oak. The taste delivers smooth rich sweet malts and a dash of molasses heading straight into a boozy wall of bourbon and more booze. Behind all of that is a sense of thick malt sweetened spicy oak. Strong beer that’s a little rough around the edges. Not sure age will do it well as I get a faint sense of red wine like tanginess that, if this is what it seems to be, this beer is heading for issues. Hopefully I’m wrong. Right now this sensation is so weak it isn’t noticed on every sip and when it is it isn’t enough to distract from the experience. So it’s pretty damn good now but seems a little barrel forward and it would be nice to get a better sense of the beer.

22 oz bottle shared at DCLawyer’s, thanks Tyler! Dark reddish brown with light tan head. Aromas of smoke, roasted garlic, cocoa, soy sauce. Tastes of garlic, toasty notes, light soy sauce, cocoa. Medium body with a dry finish. Interesting. Works fairly well.
