Keg at Shirker' Rest, New Cross. Clear chestnut. Foamy off-white head. Aroma has burnt caramel sweetness, liqourice and herbs. Sweetness prevails. Flavourwise it's similar albeit they're is a herbal bitterness over burnt caramel sweetness. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Easy drinking but still perky BIPA.

440ml can thanks to Neal for grabbing this for me from the taproom.
Pours black with a big tan head dissipating nicely. Aroma of dark malts, molasses, caramel, dark fruits, chocolate. Taste is rich and malty, plenty of umami here, molasses, dark fruits, caramel, leather, chocolate, some roast malts giving some bitterness - would've liked a lot more of this as it's quite sweet overall. Full bodied, smooth.

440ml can. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of lime, earthy biscuity malts. Taste is also unusually earthy, pale malts, the limes are a nice addition and actually saving this beer, finish is decently bitter. Light-medium bodied.

Can bought at Bottle & Stoat, Southampton. Clear light gold. Foamy white head. Aroma is bitter. Herbal. Unusually, for the style, it's resinous. Flavourwise it's got a bitter woody and herbal core. Some light if tart citrus. Spice. Light. Thin. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Much more punchy than your usual Wit.
