tap at Fortezza’s, the placemat showed it as Red Ryeding Hood, the chalk board listed it as Wry American. The bartender says the name was changed to Wry American shortly before they released it. Still trying to figure out if it’s the same beer with a different name or a different beer. - Pours lightly hazy amber and smells mainly of rye and malt. The flavor is caramel malt and rye and is quite sweet. There’s a fair amount of hops hiding under all that malt and it comes through more in the finish. It strikes me as a bit medicinal though and like the other Chapman’s beers in my flight, the sweetness is cloying, though not nearly as much so as the Monstre.

tap - Pours near black with a lingering tan head that laces heavily. The aroma is of roast malt and coffee. It tastes of dark roast malt and more coffee, has a medium to full body, and the dark roast flavor lingers pleasantly. It’s a well balanced, enjoyable stout.

tap - This IPA pours hazy copper colored and has an off-white head that leaves lots of lacing. The aroma has citrus and pine hop characteristics. The flavor features good, crisp, assertive hops bitterness with some citrus notes and a long bitter finish. It’s a very solid IPA.

tap - Pours clear gold with a lingering white head. It has a mild grainy malt aroma. The flavor is sweet and light. It’s light bodied and basically strikes me as a pale lager replacement. Drinkable but meh...

tap - Pours hazy gold with a big white head. It smells of malt and spicy yeast. The flavor is super-sweet, practically a sugar-bomb. There’s some Belgian yeast character but to me any complexity that might be there is overwhelmed by the cloying sweetness. Medium body and a little boozy, it’s drinkable but is seriously lacking in balance.

tap - Pours mostly clear gold with a lingering white head and has a very mild malt and cherry aroma. It tastes very sweet with cherries. There’s some tartness from the cherries but mostly it’s just sweet. It’s okay.
