Poured from 355mL can. Clear light blonde with small white head. Just a hint of straw and floral hops, otherwise this is all water. Very weak and thin, very low flavour. Would take it over a run-of-the-mill lager, but would rather just not drink either.

473mL can, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of gentle pomegranate, even lighter citrus, and a touch of lacto. Flavour is quite salty, with plenty of pomegranate, gentle lacto, a touch of citrus, and saline. Salty, pomegranate-y, but almost no tartness. Pleasant.

On tap at Bridge Deck, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty and sweet, with caramel, syrup, and subdued resinous hops. Flavour is syrupy sweet and somehow also metallic and bitter, with intense syrupy caramel sweetness upfront, which immediately transitions to bitter hops and metallic notes. Seems cloying upfront but then the sweetness immediately transitions to harsh astringency. Rough stuff and not very well-dialled in. Poor.

On tap at Lonsdale BridgeDeck, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderately dank hops and subdued mango. Flavour is super dank, with lots of pot-like hops, whereas the mango is quite subdued. Dank and bitter on the finish. On the harsh side, with pronounced astringent bitterness. Decent.

Flavour is somewhat metallic with moderate bitterness, little in the way of hops flavour, and crisp biscuity malt. Astringent bitterness and metallic character on the finish. Decent.

Chestnut colour, dirty. Vague aroma of malt. Now, if the flavour was sticky and sweet, it would be anachronistic but I may still appreciate it as Barley Wine; instead, it's mostly earthy, with basic hop, some orange peel (surprise…), and astringent finish.
Old style, and not well executed.
