Description
Flying Brewery is situated in Siljansnäs in Dalarna, Sweden.
The company was established in 2010 by Austrian Johann Graf and Swedish Joakim Hanson. Johann and Joakim met through their shared love of hot air ballooning, a business in which they have been working together since 1991. The brewery is located on an Airpark, where aircraft enthusiasts share a neighborhood and fly their aeroplanes.

Bottled 330ml (From Sokos Herkku, Tampere)
Hazy yellow color, no head. Sweet artifical lemon aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish soda pop flavor, light citric finish. Not even very good in the radler category.

Bottle 330ml (from Sokos Herkku, Tampere)
Clear golden color, small mostly vanishing white head. Grainy, corn aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish maltyness. A bit grainy and also slightly cardboardish. Only light bitterness. Quite bulkish.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 2 Oct 2015) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, citrus, burnt rubber and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, black-currant and a gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fairly tasty, but not really in perfect balance. Quite enjoyable.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 2 Oct 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with toast, dark fruit and a touch of candy sugar. Malty taste with notes of toast, apricots, toffee, dark fruit and a fairly low bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well, well, not really interesting, but quite drinkable.

Bottle at Barrels, gamla Stan. Pours hazy yellow. Smooth sweet taste of lemonade and powder sugar, slight zest bitter finish.

Tap at Beer Fes Osaka 2015. Orange, clear, with lace. Peaches, esters, yeasty nose. A bit cardboardy, ok fruit flavors. Ok.

Bottled at Beer Fes Osaka 2015. Malty, bready, dry nose. Orange-golden color. Sweet rich malt flavor, white grapes, tasty and well done.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB Feb 2016, at Gastropub Nordic, 20150718) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and mildly butter. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, molasses and bitterness. Aftertate was grainy, malty and bitter. A nice grainy märzen.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 3 Oct 2014) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grass, peaches and canned fruit. Malty taste with notes of bread, grass, hay and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Drinkable, but quite generic pale lager.

Draft @ SBWF 2014 as Classic Märzen 5.6%. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor with weak grassy hints and hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.
