Description
The Zorzettig brothers, Marco and Massimo, sharing a long lasting experience in winemaking, are now entering the world of microbreweries, they are going to highlight the value of their own crops: 14 hectares of barley and 2 hectares of wheat. The first used to produce base malt and the latter to obtain weizen beer. It is not by chance that the brewery is located in San Pietro al Natisone: the water springs of Monte Mia, supplying a pure and non contaminated water, crucial for the quality and success of the brew. The brewery relies on sustainability: the power consumption need for brewing is completely given by renewable sources. The beers are top fermented and craft made without any filtration and pasteurising.

Draught at the brewpub. Almost clear, amber colored. AROMA- toasted malts, honey, caramel. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, lightly bitter, toasted, caramel, spicy, pale plums. Medium bodied. Not bad.

Draught at the brewpub. Almost clear, gold colored. AROMA- citrusy, tropical fruit, peach. FLAVOR- just slightly sweet, lightly bitter, malty, floral, citrusy, peach. Medium bodied. Decent IPA.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy, pale gold colored. AROMA- wheat, vanilla, clove, bubble gum. FLAVOR- just slightly sweet, slightly bitter, spicy, clove, vanilla, touch of citrus. Medium bodied. Good.

Bottled 330ml. -from EuroSpar Portogruaro, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, some cardboard in the nose. Herbal, cardboardish, some bitterness and short dry finish.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from Italy, shared with Marko and him. Unclear golden, minimal head. Aroma is cardboard, cooked vegetable and grain. Flavour is light citrus, grain, vegetables, cardboard and rubber. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp, dry finish with rubber flavor sticking out.

0.33l bottle, thx Ogi for sharin with H and me! Slightly golden body, no head. Honeyish malty aroma, floral, bit herbal, light fruity touches. Lean minerally taste, dry, bit herbal, ending bitterish. Fairly clean, industrial-seeming though it's not, chuggable summer beer.

Bottled 330ml. -from EuroSpar Portogruaro. Amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and whiff of oxidation in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light toffee and weak oxidation with sweet finish. Too sweet.

Hazy reddish copper. Mild fruit, strawberry, weak finish. It doesn't taste too old.
