Keyaki. Aroma is lots of citrus, lemon juice. Taste is more yeasty and malty, lemon in the background, creamy. Light sweetness. It's alright.

Tap at the brewpub. Light golden blond, aroma is wheaty, light sweetness. Taste is good. Dry and wheaty, little bit of lemon. Not how I expected it to be. Quite crisp.

Tap at the brewpub. Very lifeless. Quite thick. Bit cloudy. Taste is kind of there, but quite lemon squash like. Bitter, but not so good. Body lets it down. Bit twiggy further down. Not horrible, just not really there. Rerate Oct. 2014. Totally different. Light bitterness, caramel, light spritz, very very different. Ginger spiciness. Quite subtle. Nice.

Tap at the brewpub. Golden amber colour. Light hoppiness, malty body, little bit of sweetness but still kind of crisp. Nice and drinkable. Second time, full body, bit of ginger, malty sweetness too.

I am using this as the generic cidre rating for all ciders here as there will be so few people rating this. I had with Mikami apples and yes it is stupidly priced, but I liked it more than the beer. fairly clear pale golden color. Deep rich off dry nose. Musty mouth with low tartness

Keyaki fall 2016. Lots of lemon and lime on the nose. Sweet on the palate, but some the citrus character comes through well. Slightly grainy and yeasty texture. As it warms, well not so pleasant. Drink it fast. --- Beer merged from original tick of Miyata Keyaki Golden Ale on 18 Sep 2016 at 15:35 - Score: 6 --- Beer merged from original tick of Miyata Keyaki Golden Ale on 19 Sep 2016 at 08:24 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 7. Tap at Oedo. Nice light ginger nose with crackery malts and a touch of lemon. Clean and crisp on the palate. Well-balanced and refreshing. Very faint ginger heat on the finish. Maybe little too boozy on the finish for the style. Still the best of the new breweries I tried at Oedo. --- Beer merged from original tick of Miyata Ginger Golden Ale on 08 May 2016 at 15:04 - Score: 6. Original review text: Nice lightl ginger notes. Coffee Amber 5% pours a bright clear orange, way more appetizing than the murky IPA . Big malty aroma with great coffee notes.light bodied with a raspy mouthfeel. The taste is really nice coffee beans and honeyed malts. Easy to drink and surprisingly smooth.

On tap at the brewpub. IPA 5% pours an opaque orange-honey gold. Citrusy tropical fruithip notes. Medium bodied but a bit buttery. The taste is bitter fruits, a bit sweet malts and bitting hops. Pretty nice flavor & aroma but muddled looking.

golden ale. Fairly fresh hoppy nose, but again undertones of diactyle. That ruins a fairly decent ale.
