Very nice banana in the nose, very flavourful! The beer starts not as sweet as the nose let expect. But very clove-bananaful in aroma. The mainpart is fullbodied, lots of yeasty banana and clove together with a slight bitterness. The aftertaste is long, lots of clove, slightly bitter.
a very interesting and intense Weizen! Great! --> 13/12/13/12

The beer is orange in the glass, head disappears fast. The beer starts nicely smoked, malty. The mainpart is smooth, nicely malty. A nice bitterness appears in the end, slightly roasted and nicely smoked. The aftertaste is long, malty and nicely smokey. The nice bitterness fits in very well!
--> nice beer! --> 13/12/12/13

Bottle. Cloudy orange, lacing off-white head. Fruit, apples, tropics, grassy notes, with a typical good wallop of smokyness - hay, oak, peat. Fullbodied, mellow and sparkly, grassy light burned finish, orangepeel retronasal. Breaks the mold for sure, and in a good way.

Taste is the best aspect of this beer, with appearance a close second. Smell is light malt , hops, citrus and hay, but taste is crisp and sharp, with nice smooth hops bitterness in the finish. Overall mouthfeel is medium and slick. Seasonally produced and organic too, try to get your hands on a bottle if you can.

Sampled at Braukunst Live. Citrus and melon aroma, orangepeel. Dark hazy amber, low offwhite head. Fun combination of smoke and aromatic hops: Light citric pine and mint on Franconian smoked malts. Awesome, love the concept.
