Pax Bräu Titan, das Monatsbier für August 2024, Literflasche vom Brauereistand auf dem 12. Rhöner Wurstmarkt. - Goldgelb, klar; üppigste Schaumbildung. - In der Nase schlanker aber sehr aromatischer Hopfen: tropische Frucht, ätherische Kräuter, herbale und florale Noten. - Antrunk fein hellmalzig und außergewöhnlich hopfenaromatisch: von Mango und Ananas über herbe Grapefruit bis zu Fenchel, Anis und anderen mediterranen Kräutern reicht das Spektrum, das dennoch in der Summe erkennbar Pilsner-artig bleibt und sogar noch Platz für eine feine Restsüße läßt. Milder rezent. Im Abgang solide hopfenwürzige Herbe, leicht kühlend. - Mit traumwandlerischer Sicherheit holt Andreas Seufert auch aus dieser Hopfensorte eine enorme Aromenfülle heraus und produziert doch ein elegantes, ausbalanciertes Bier ohne exzentrische Züge. Als Festbier vom Faß am Pax-Bräu-Stand auf dem 12. Rhöner Wurstmarkt in Ostheim. - Solider aber nirgends plumper roter Malzkörper und leise exotische aber doch deutsche hopfenwürzige Herbe mit intensiver Orangenschale und etwas Tabak. Dezente aber tiefe Karamelsüße. Milder rezent, vollmundig, leicht trocken. Im Abgang solide aber nicht sehr bittere herbale Hopfenherbe. - Unorthodoxes aber sehr solides, nicht allzu schweres aber individuell und straff gehopftes Festbier. Gut! (13.10.2024.)

Bottle. Slightly cloudy red with an ok beige head. Aroma of caramel, malts and herbs. Taste of red berries, caramel, honey, herbs and strawberry jam. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Balanced and süffig. Good.

1L bottle @ Huikas. Bottled 24.11.2023, BBE 07/2024 Aroma has some vegetable-like chili typical to coffee beers. Also alcohol. Flavour has coffee, chocolate, mild vegetables. Some fruitiness too. A bit watery for this ABV. Enjoyable anyway.

Bottle. Clear dark gold sporting a massive white head. Aroma of forest honey, herbs, citrus fruits and hints of strawberries plus tropical fruits. Taste of malts, forest honey, herbs, fruits of the forest, a little bit of grapefruits and passion fruits. Surprisingly strong bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Neat.

Bottle. Just slightly cloudy yellow/gold featuring a proper white head. Aroma of lime, zest and soap. Taste of malts, lime, ginger, zest, soap, yeast, minerals, some grapefruits and dare I say maybe even hints of mint? Low to moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. The ginger is very much dialed back and thankfully not as overwhelming as it’s often the case. Thin mouthfeel, anaemic and mostly harmless. I think this one suffers from a lack of identity/purpose and I wish it was a little more bold and ballsy.

Bottle. Clear gold/yellow with a very lovely white head. Aroma of peat, smoke, hay and malts. Taste of malts, smoke, a barn full of cute goats, peat and hay with a little bit of liquorice a dash of grapefruit in the background. Zesty, earthy and spicy. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Alcohol is very well incorporated. Very balanced and dangerously drinkable. Rather unusual but tremendous Maibock. Brilliant.
