Tap at 508 Gastropub, 20/05/13. Hazed light golden with a thin off white head. Nose is Belgian yeast, fruit, spice. Taste comprises caramel, Belgian yeast esters, light spice, sugars, tarte summer fruit, pears. Medum bodied with fine carbonation. Ok Belgian style affair.

Tap at 508 Gastropub, 20/05/13. Listed as 4.5% ABV. Hazed pale blonde with a thin off white head. Nose is a little thin, light citrus, grass, spice. Taste comprises lemon, sugars, grass, farmyard, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable but the blandometer was rising through amber thus also forgettable!

Tap at 508 Gastropub, NYC, 20/05/13. Hazed pale yellow with a thin white head that clears edgeward leaving a thin film. Nose is soured lemons, tarte peach, apple skins. Taste comoprises tarte citrus fruit, soured apple skin, light funk. Light in body, fine carbonation, light puckering finish. A solid refreshing Berliner Weisse.

Tap at 508 Gastropub, 20/05/13. Hazed copper amber with a thin of white head. Nose is caramel, floral notes, herbal qualities. Taste comprises caramel, light floral hopping, bitter orange, herbs. light malt bill. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Average.

Tap at 508 bar, 20/05/13. Pale golden with a thin off white head. Nose is orange pith, spice, ginger, lemon rind, grass, barnyard qualities. Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon rind, spice, herbal notes, yeast, grass. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation. A decent saison, good balance of spice, the booze holds fine and is well integrated as I’m not usually a fain of saisons much above 7%.

Aroma: This beer a nice hop nose of citrus and pine, with some malt notes as well
Appearance: It pours an unclear darker golden color with a smallish white head
Flavor: Tastes balanced between light sweetness and mid bitterness, though it clearly leans bitter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a pretty nice mouthfeel, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: This was a nice, solid IPA. It wasn't quite the standout some of the other, more unique 508 beers have been, but it is a very solid beer.

Aroma: The nose is what you'd expect from the description, lots of floral and spice
Appearance: Pours a dark caramel orange color with a small beige head and drippy lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same florally, spicy, malty, and a little sweet as well
Palate: The body is medium, with a nice, clean feel to it, and a fairly long duration
Overall Impression: This one was another tasty beer from 508. There's a lot going on (as you can see from all the ingredients), but the combination works pretty nicely.
