Description
Together with his friend and business partner Jens Hinrichs, Jens Block is the Bunthaus brewery, Hamburg's latest addition to the already moving craft beer scene. The name of the brewery is derived from the location of their two hectoliters small specialty brewery. It is located at the Bunthäuser Spitze on Germany's largest river island in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg.

Cloudy, DARK Amber color and a nice WG
Gute head. Restrained nose of malts, faint roasty. Bitter hoppy flavors, decent caramel, earthy Hops.

At Oorlam: pours dark brown with big foamy beige head. Aroma is toasty, molasses, nutty. Taste is sweetish, low bitterness. Body too thin.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty and slightly citrusy fruity, minimally leafy, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon tea, instant lemon tea. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally toasty and nutty, caramel malty, slightly citrusy, minimally leafy hoppy, hints of black tea, lemon tea, instant lemon tea. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Minimally sugary character - OK.

0,33 l bottle. Cloudy pale amber with a small fast fading whte head in the glass. Malty on the nose, some hop. Taste starts also malty as expected. Definitive hop, some caramel. Fruity in the second part, little bit bready dry. Low carbonated. Okay.
