Bottle from Half Time. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Nice light citrus aroma. Near med body. Flavor is a little breadiness with some fairly nice citric hop. More bitter than expected, and this really works on a hot day. Might be the best lawnmower beer so far.

Yes, from a bottle. Smell of dull hops and malt. Dirty yellow. Taste is roughly astringent hoppy, but not the same as a IPA. Stronger APA. Decent sizzle. Smooths out a little near the end. Still has a longer hop finsih.

On tap. Poured a slightly hazy brown with a caramel brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of bread notes with a bit of nuttiness and sweet grain backing. Flavor had a bit more nuttiness which joined the bread note that had a bit of sweetness to it.

Tap at Governors Island Brew Fest, summer 2010. Pours amber-red with a medium, off-white head. Nicely balanced all around. Aroma holds some caramel malts and citrusy hops. Flavor begins sweet and malty before giving way to some citrus an earth bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes with a nice malt profile and some lingering hops. Nice.

Bottle. Beer of the Month club. Reddish brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma of hops, with some citrus, flowers and pine hints, malt, chocolate, cookie and toast notes and some caramel. Flavor starts sweetish with malt, caramel, nuts, some cookie dough and light fruitiness, then turns bitter and hoppy, somewhat earthy, with some grapefruit notes. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Shachar. Beer of the Month club. Clear deep golden. Aroma of pine, some candy-ish notes and citrus. A balanced flavor with some slightly grainy sweetish malt and a pleasant, lingering, fruity bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied.

From my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-brown color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was sour nut, light fruits and a touch of roasty malts. The flavor was bitter and roasty with undertones of toasted caramel, wood, apple and smoke. The finish was dry, bitter and woody. Slightly thin in body. Ok.

From my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark copper color with a medium sized yellow-white head that faded quickly. The aroma was light floral and piney hops. The flavor dryish, tart and bitter with moderate notes of pine, grapefruit and lemon. The finish was long with lemon and pine lingering. A bit thin in body. Pretty one dimensional but decent.
