On tap at the brewery. This is a light, mellow pale with a moderate citrus note. OK.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out crackery malt and light piney hops upfront. Flavour is along the same lines, with crackery malt and subdued piney hops. Fairly robust for a pale, with a good balance. Solid.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a clear copper golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out English bready malt and light floral hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt and subdued earthy, vegetal hops in typical British fashion. Nothing special but clean enough.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a hazy dark amber red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out a nice smoky peat character upfront, with little else. Flavour is along the same lines, with mostly smoky and peaty notes to write about. Tastes like a smoked meat sandwich. Nothing special but a fun beer.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite subdued on the habanero, with only slight earthy notes as well. Flavour is more pronounced on the peppers in terms of spice, though there's not much actual pepper character. Subdued and lacking depth. Meh.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite light, with a touch of piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is very subdued, with biscuity malt and barely much of a hop character. Rather lame, but at least inoffensive.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, a hint of pine and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with earthy hops, herbal notes and toasted malt. Pretty harsh and uninteresting. Weak.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of straw and light corn. Flavour is along the same lines, with corn, straw and grainy notes. Clean and drinkable, but it's a lager. Meh.

.5L Pils glass draft at Saraveza in Portland, Oregon. The pour is a cloudy yellow golden with a frothy white head. The aroma is faint some peach, a bit of cereal grain. The taste is a clean pils malt along with the fresh peach. As it warms, more of a cereal grain and fruit sweet flavor. The palate is light to medium bodied, active carbonation and a clean finish. Simple, straightforward and tasty beer.
