On tap at Saraveza's 6th IIPA Fest, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings lots of piney hops, some tree bark, and biscuity malt. Flavour brings out loads of resinous, wood and dry biscuity malt. Dry and hoppy, without any real astringency. Excellent.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a hazy amber with a beige head. Aroma brings out lots of smoke - like a fire pit. Flavour is similar, like a fire pit, with smoked bready malt. Really nice rauchbier. Well-balanced and clean.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out subtle chilis, not a whole lot else. Flavour brings out loads of cocoa nibs and chilis in a pretty good balance. Not very refined or complex but pleasant enough. Decent.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a dark cherry brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, toffee, Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Flavour is fairly sweet, with caramelized sugar, Belgian yeast and toffee. Rather cloying on the sweetness but pleasant enough in small amounts. Meh.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast and piney hops. Flavour is similar, with Belgian yeast and candied sugar upfront, followed by resinous hops. A good hybrid beer but nothing overly intriguing.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits and light chocolatey notes. Flavour is quite fruity for a stout, with dark fruits upfront, followed by chocolate and espresso. A little too fruit for an impie. Decent, but not my kind of thing.

On tap at 13 Virtues, pours a dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma is actually fairly restrained for the style, with dark fruits and toffee. Flavour is robust and much more discerning, with lots of raisins, molasses and resinous hops. Hugely flavourful and supremely balanced. Awesomely constructed - not too sweet or hoppy. Excellent.
