30/X/25 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 30/IX/26, batch: DOK272 (2025-1081)
Clear dark brown to black beer, big aery irregular beige head, crackles down quickly, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: oooh lovely, old school black IPA! Good strong piny hops, with a solid roast underneath that, some coffee, but more of a charcoal roast, even some campfire smoke. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: oh yes, lovely, good bitterness, hoppy, resinous, piny, good deep roast, a hint of sweet malts. Aftertaste: hoppy, dry, bitter, very strong roast, hoppy, coffee, charcoal.

A: hazy yellow, stable, foamy, white head.
A: white onion, hashish, sweat, kiwi, scallion, citrus rind.
T: sweetish grape & kiwi, spicy scallion, onion.
F: piney & peppery hops, dank shallot, bitter grapefruit.
P: medium body, slick-watery texture, average carbonation.
Quite powerful as a single hop, just needed a bit more body.

Belgian hazy? Sample at the roost. Murky burnt gold, ring of white head. Nose has stone fruits and wheat, dried straw. Something jammy. Flavor is either off or non traditional. Chalky, stone fruits, apricot jam. Something odd.

A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of mid sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, oysters, vanilla. Taste of mid sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, liquorice, oysters, boozy finish.

330ml can @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025. First beer of the day. Hazed golden yellow, white head. Nicely bright, exotic hop character, medium to full bodied, pulpy overripe tropical hop, gentle bitter close.. definitely feels like a Soma brew rather than Dok. Good start.

Gushing to good, fluffy, snowwhite head over lively carbonated, faintly veiled golden beer. Spicy, leafy nose with pilsner malts. Very 'beery' nose; nettles, dry green hops. Dry bitter flavour with a lot of non-sweet grains. Finish is dry - almost lean - giving it a tad empty impression. Very light body. Too well carbonated. Good Lager. I wonder - is there any connection to Rafexport?

Can shared at BBGG. Hazy yellow. Pineapple, mango, cactus fruit, dank weedy hops, lemon. Over medium sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied. Nice.

Clear deep orange blond beer, small creamy dense off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, grains, caramel, a hint of roast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, caramel, grains, good bitterness, cow fodder, a bit sourish. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, grassy, hay, barnyard, more bitter, slightly metallic, cow fodder, decent stuff!
