Michels Weihnachtsbock, Flasche von REWE, Niederorschel. - Dunkelbraun, gut trüb; sahniger Schaum mit Ringen. - In der Nase üppiges, warmes dunkles malz, kräftige Röstaromen, Schwarzbrot, Rosinen, Landkaffee und frische krautige Hopfung, etwas eckig. - Antrunk satt dunkel- und kräftig röstmalzig mit knackiger Mokkabittere, leicht erdig, etwas Torf. Kräftige, frisch krautige Hopfung mit zitronigen Spitzen. Kaum süß, zarte Kaffeesäure. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Wuchtig kaffeebitterer Nachtrunk. - Kernig frischer Bock von aromatisch kaffeebitterer Hopfung; mit leicht untypischer Aromatik und Kantigkeit nicht gerade was man sich landläufig unter einem Weihnachtsbier vorstellt, aber ganz ausgezeichnet. Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing. A clear orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweet smoked dark malt, bacon, wood. Taste of dark smoked malt, caramel, bacon, some wood. Good!

0,5 l bottle, yes again from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! A darkest red brown, nearly black in the glass with a more than one finger beige foamy head. Berry fruity and some pale grain on the nose, low roasted. Taste is more on the roasted side, less but present berry fruity with sweetness. Dry grain in the second part. Low to zero carbonation. Nice one.

0,5 l bottle of course from kappldav123 again. Thanks a lot! A darkest red brown in the glass with a nearly two finger steady foamy beige head. Looks really good. Smokey malty on the nose, some sweetness. Taste starts with roasted, malt, increasing smoked bacon, sweetness in the background. Low carbonated. Nice one!

Many thanks to kappldav123! Great malty soft beginning. Caramel there. Smoke and peated malts are entering the stage, getting dryer with a nice bitter peated finish. Great caramelly Bock with a peated punch.

Many thanks to kappldav123! Malty fruity beginning. Nice with a fruity back. Floral with a great roasted caramelly back. Cookies, burned fire woods, caramel. Soft and creamy grain in the finish. Really nice.
