Description
Client brewer in 2012-2013, microbrewing since 2014.

De brouwerij is gestart in mei 2013. In november 2015 kreeg brouwer Jan Kraan van de gemeente toestemming om zijn kleinschalige brouwerij en winkel binnen Bodegraven te verplaatsen van de Overtocht naar de Oud Bodegraafseweg. Uiteindelijk werd deze verhuizing afgeblazen en bleef de brouwerij gevestigd op de Overtocht. In 2017 werd op die locatie iedere twee weken 200 liter bier gebrouwen (ongeveer 50 hl per jaar).

In mei 2021 verhuisde Jan Kraan naar Rekken. Daarmee verhuisde ook de brouwerij van de provincie Zuid-Holland naar de provincie Gelderland. Sinds de verhuizing wordt er alleen nog maar gebrouwen voor de eigen camping Ont Moeten. In 2023 werd er 4.000 liter bier gebrouwen.

Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is light acid sour. The flavour is moderate sour with an acid, mineral aspirin, dry yeast palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

33cl bottle shared courtesy of Maakun. Very thin white head.Slightly hazy pale golden pour. Slight sourness. Not bad.

Bottle shared. Hazy light golden with white head. Lemon, sweet malts, hay, pineapple, light Brett funk, light yeast and spices, mango and a touch of alcohol. Medium sweet with a tart touch. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Decent.

Bottle shared thanks to Maakun. Pours hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of tart fruits, cardboard, citrus and pepper notes. Flavour is above light sweet and sour. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Sample from bottle at the brewery/store. Clear golden with white head. Light herbs, spicy yeast, sweel malts and light dry grains. Medium sweet with alcoholic bitter finish. Medium bodied with full carbonation. Too alcoholic.

Looks like liquid rust. Not very appealing. Aroma and flavour have some ginger and orange. Bitter citrus peel in the finish.
