Description
Client brewer in 2012-2013, microbrewing since 2014.

De brouwerij is gestart in mei 2013. In november 2015 kreeg brouwer Jan Kraan van de gemeente toestemming om zijn kleinschalige brouwerij en winkel binnen Bodegraven te verplaatsen van de Overtocht naar de Oud Bodegraafseweg. Uiteindelijk werd deze verhuizing afgeblazen en bleef de brouwerij gevestigd op de Overtocht. In 2017 werd op die locatie iedere twee weken 200 liter bier gebrouwen (ongeveer 50 hl per jaar).

In mei 2021 verhuisde Jan Kraan naar Rekken. Daarmee verhuisde ook de brouwerij van de provincie Zuid-Holland naar de provincie Gelderland. Sinds de verhuizing wordt er alleen nog maar gebrouwen voor de eigen camping Ont Moeten. In 2023 werd er 4.000 liter bier gebrouwen.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is grassy and light cornish. Bitter, toasted and light grassy. Dry and bitter into a crisp hoppy finish.

Bottle 750ml. w. swing top @ home. [ As Kraanwater 8.2 ].[ Courtesy of Flaskedrengen ]. Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, flowers, perfume, mint - toothpaste, bubble gum. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, toothpaste, perfume, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141115]

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of cereal, caramel, light lemon. Taste is sweet. Finishes sweet too.

Dunkelgoldenes Bier mit sehr viel weißem Schaum. Geruch sehr malzig, fruchtig, leicht würzig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr fruchtig, malzig, viel CO2, Aprikosen, Citrus, hefig, etwas würzig, gut!

Bottled. An unclear yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of fruits, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, yeast, fruits, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.
