Bottle at Craig’s. Pours pale yellow with a white head. Aromas of caramel and light lemon. Taste is more citrus, toffee sweetness. Finishes sweet. OK.

Bottle @ home. Hazy pale yellow color, full sized white to off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, yeast. I had expected some herbs or spices and I suspect it’s in the there somewhere but I doubt whether I really taste it. Medium body and carbonation. Hmm, better than expected.

33cl Bottle from Speciaalbierwinkel Bodegraven. Brewed at NHB. Hazy golden colour, thin white head. Aroma of banana, yeast, quite sweet, some plastic, clove. Flavour is similar, lots of sweet banana and clove, like a strong Weizen, yeasty bitterness, hint of plastic, some alcohol. Slick, medium bodied. Not great, but easy drinking, albeit a bit on the sweet side.
