(50 cl bottle at Haket, Gothenburg) Dark red color, tan head. Fresh scent with some chocolate and smoke. Quite smokey taste at first, but changes into chocolate and then some burnt after taste. Medium mouth feel, where’s the oats? Medium bitterness.

Bottled vintage 2004, alc. 9%, batch #69. Thanks to yngwie. Orange hazy color, small off-white head. Yeasty, fruity, even glue-like aroma. A bit weird for a trippel. Plummy, apricot fruity - a bit toffeish and quite yeasty. This bottle was already aged 2½ years but it was still quite yeasty. Maybe ageing added those toffeish notes. Not really tripel-style.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma of alcohol sweet fruits, spices and some nuts. Flavour is hoppy, but also candyish sweet. Caramellish malts also noteable. Pleasant mix. Some yeast is also noteable, but not disturbingly.

Sweet, elderberry, chamomile, rosemary, floral, fresh, hoppy scent. Sweet, spicy, hoppy, herbal, bitter, alcohol taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Salty aftertaste.Feels like they overdid the spicy part n the scent, do not think it is cascade hops alone.7/3/6/3/13=3.2

Bottle 500 ml. Dark brown body with a creamy white head. Spicy, roasted coffee aroma. Easy drinkable and refreshing Christmas beer, surprisingly tasty to be only 4,5% alcohol. Relatively short aftertaste. Nice to drink alone or together with food, but taste very little after God Jul (the bigger version of NØ Christmas beer). Anyway, the best Norwegian Christmas beer to be sold in regular food shops in Norway (below 4,75% )

Bottle 500 ml. Almost dark body with a nice decent white head. Dominating vanilla aroma with a hint of roasted malt. Flavor is much like a well-balanced stout, sweet but not too much, moderate roasted and an evident vanilla character. Plenty of vanilla in the aftertaste as well. Actually I prefer this beer a bit colder than recommended

A hazy orange beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet and lovely hoppy with notes of both grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with strong grass notes, but also notes of hops and caramel. Very American in its expression.

500 ml bottle. Black body with medium rust-red head. Mild roasted aroma with coffee and chocolate. Flavor much the same as the aroma, mild, pleasant light roasted with a fruity, quite fresh and soft mouthfeel. An easy beer to like.
