Bottle. Unfortunately there is medium-strength sourness throughout the beer, aroma to finish. High bitterness underneath, along with juicy tangerine citrusy hops flavours. Pity about the sourness, but with BBD 10/2017 and storage in refrigerator this could not be my fault.

Many thanks to Taboada for this bottle! Fresh malty floral brew. Moderate smooth floral, moderate sweetish. Nice dry, moderate piney with a grainy dry malty body. Fresh and mild floral with not too much sweetness.

Found in Porto. Has a good clove aroma on the nose and hints of barley. Appearance is a nice jet black body and middling creamy head. Flavour is muddle barley and sharp chocolate. Nothing really stands out in the flavour, seems unbalanced. Okay mouthfeel. It has some good elements but needs a lot more to be interesting.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 16A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 1441. AROMA: sweet malty aroma background of wheat with very faint orange notes. APPEARANCE: light gold color and a lot of material in suspension. large white head with good retention. TASTE: some acidic flavour maybe due to carbonic acid. strong fruity esters mixed with bready notes. low bitterness. PALATE: medium-low body with initial high carbonation. OVERALL: a wit that needs improvement. maybe the sample tasted is a bit old and the wit qualities faded...
