Die Optik dieses Bieres zeigt sich in einem Orangegold und weist eine zarte Opaltrübung sowie eine feine Perlage auf. Der weiße, feinporige Schaum hält dabei ganz gut. Die Duftaromatik präsentiert sich süßlich, fruchtig-malzig und angenehm floral. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, spritzig und fruchtig, bringt aber die nötige und passende Herbe mit. Am Gaumen zeigt sich ein mäßiger, brotiger Malzkörper mit fruchtig-floralen Noten. Für ein Lager dieser Art überraschend vollmundig und durchaus gut. Die zarte Hopfung sorgt für ein ausgewogenes und durchaus gutes Profil. Einfach, aber voll okay. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit passen in ihrer gut durchschnittlichen Art ebenso genau dazu. Im Nachtrunk baut die Aromatik rasch ab, es bleibt leicht süßlich-floral und trocken herb. Mein Fazit: klar und geradlinig, keine Fehler - voll okay!

Draught @ the brewpub Aroma has toasted notes, chocolate and mild sourness. Flavour has some dark, bitter chocolate and coffee. Bitter hop bite in the finish. The hop profile does not fit here well, it makes this bitter in a harsh way.

--Bottled at PBF XIII-- Clear pale golden, small head. Aroma of boiled vegetables and random garbage. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Old garbage and dough. Low bitterness. Awkward.

Can@PBF XIII. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some tartness and mild wheat. Flavour is floral, some wheat, mild tart and dry elements. Watery and rather bland.
