Clear golden and light amber coloured body with a copper glow. Aroma of crisp grass, hay, light tea and a dose of flowers - very nice smelling. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy hop flavour at first with a dose of herbs and grain and a nice bitterness near the end from perfume, with some alcohol showing through as well. Aftertaste is pungent and bitter with a light smooth sweetness near the end. Overall, a nice rich beer with a lot of grassy and perfumey hops, similar to a real APA from America! I nice option indeed if here in Taiwan! I sampled this 33 cL bottle from Homee Kitchen in Terminal 1 (Gate A5) at Taipei Taoyuan Airport on 28-July-2017 for NT$170.

Clear peach and bronzed coloured body with a large, soapy-ish tan head, about three centimetres tall that leaves a fairly ugly lace on the side of the glass. Aroma of rich herbal and grassy hops up front that shows some medicinal and rather distinct astringent smells along with a light tea and perhaps jasmine floral and herbal quality. Medium-bodied; Deep-seated bitter flavour at first from the hops with a good deal of alpha acids, that don’t show a single varietal of hops, but rather just the perfumey and grassy bitterness, followed by some grassy and herbal qualities that ends in some sweetness and more assertive alcohol and hop bitterness at the end. Aftertaste is rich and robust, but the alcohol tends to show more throughout, along with the grass and herbs near the end. Overall, a lot of flavours rummaging around here, but the hops and bitterness definitely dominate, and they show well, but not amazing, nor are the tea and jasmine flavours captured as well as they could have been. Still, nice to try and a worthy attempt at a beer and great to see here in the East. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Jason’s Market Place in Taipei 101, in Taipei, Taiwan a few hours ago on 24-July-2017 for NT$135 sampled in my hotel room several hours later on 24-July-2017. Brewed on Date on Cap of 03-June-2017.

330mL bottle from Hmee Kitchen at Taoyuan International Airport, pours a clear dull copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of jasmine tea, some stale earthy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy, piney hops, loads of jasmine and a touch of sweetness from the malts on the underside. A little too malty, but it's pretty good.
