Biotle at CBJ Tasting. Slightly opaque amber. No head. Aroma has smoke over a citrus and vinous element. Flavourwise it has a lot going on - tart vinous sourness with chrwy caramel and a acrid bitter edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. I like.

Interesting stuff. Sweet, bit of honey sugar, nip of tangy apple, slight bitter peel. Drinks alright. Fairly rich. Enjoyable. Dangerously drinkable for the ABV.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Near clear gold beer, small white head that lasts no time at all. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. A mildly ciderish tang. A mild alcohol spice. Bourbon barrell oak. Bourbon fruits. The tea provides a mildly malty fruitiness. Light finish. Different and pretty tasty.

a: dark brown coloured body | almost no tan head, at all
a: pitted fruits | light roasted malts | earth
f: raisins | toffee | very soft brewed coffee
t: rustic malts | nutty, a touch | prunes at end
o: aged, too much | polished & very subdued throughout (age) | still nice from Taiwan...and yes, worth bringing halfway around the world and then aging for ~9 years!!!

Appearing clear, amber with a creamy head. Aroma of caramel and malt, slightly fruity, banana, light spice, and funky. Taste: moderately sweet, slightly fruity, with a smooth, toffee-like, malty-earthy, herbal aftertaste. Medium-bodied, with moderate to mild carbonation. The tea was barely perceptible.

330ml can. Pours a clear amber with small white head. Aroma of tea and peppery notes left me with a sneezing fit. Flavour has a reasonable malt base with the tea coming through well. Medium bodied, slick, decent carbonation, a slight bitter kick. Fairly simple but well balanced.
