Appearing clear, amber with a creamy head. Aroma of caramel and malt, slightly fruity, banana, light spice, and funky. Taste: moderately sweet, slightly fruity, with a smooth, toffee-like, malty-earthy, herbal aftertaste. Medium-bodied, with moderate to mild carbonation. The tea was barely perceptible.

330ml can. Pours a clear amber with small white head. Aroma of tea and peppery notes left me with a sneezing fit. Flavour has a reasonable malt base with the tea coming through well. Medium bodied, slick, decent carbonation, a slight bitter kick. Fairly simple but well balanced.

330ml bottle from Farmers Bar, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium reddish brown colour, with a thin, broken off-white head. The aroma is yeast and lemon. The flavour is strong sour, with a somewhat light, crisp, dry oaky, yeasty, tart lemon palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Super sour, with little balancing from the barrel aging which is barely noticeable. Not easy to drink.

330ml bottle at Farmers Bar, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour, with a mostly lasting, frothy, light tan head. The aroma is big vanilla, roasted malt. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a rich, roasty, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, light dry coffee, boozy liquorice bitter palate. Full bodied with average to soft carbonation. Super sweet but balanced by the booze and liquorice. It works!
