330ml bottle from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty, red berry fruits, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a rich, smooth, light earthy, light nutty, salty, boozy, red berry fruit palate. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation. Not entirely sure this is a brown ale, but that’s what the brewer suggests.

330ml bottle at Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur city centre and shared with Marko. Poured a murky dark orange colour with little life. The aroma is sugary Christmas spices. The flavour is moderate sweet, light sour, with a smooth, rich, cherry, rhubarb, sugary sweet, light herbal palate. This is Taiwan Head. There must be tea in there somewhere! Medium bodied with flat carbonation. Sweet and a little sickly, but ultimately I’d buy again.

0.33l at Beer Bank, 2022. Hazy darker golden body, off-white head. Creamy, bit dusty cherry pit aroma. Sweetish creamy taste, combining cherry notes, a smooth maltiness, oak and some light sourness. Tasty really in an unusual way!

330ml bottle at Farmers Bar, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. The aroma is malt, herbal tea. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with smooth, earthy, herbal, light toffee palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Can’t help thinking this beer would have been better without the tea!

500ml can pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet jammy berry combo some light tartness. Taste is more of the nice sweet mixed berries blue, ras, straw and a nice tartness to keep it from being way to sweet.
