As Butjenter Kapitän's Ale FPA. Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts fine fresh hoppy, flowery. Herbal notes. Fine bitter background. Finish well balanced, bitter-dry. Shy metallical touch. Not bad!

As "Butjenter Festbier Dunkler Weihnachtsbock". Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Fine roasty-malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, earthy hints, some wood. Shy caramel, not too sweet. Some bitter chocolate. Finish could be a bit more balanced. Warming-malty aftertaste. Nice!

0,33 l bottle from Roland, purchased at the source. Thanks a lot! BB 20.05.26. Cloudy dark brown in the glass, nearly two finger long lasting pale beige foamy head. Malty aroma, sweet fruity elements in the background. Taste is also intensive malty, little bit dry, some choco and coffee in the second part. Berryfruity background. Incereasing present bitterness. Low carbonated. Nice one.

0,33 l bottle purchased at the source. BB 02/26. Murky brown in the glass, more than two finger pale beige head. Soft smokey aroma, pale malt with sweet citrus and berryfruity elements. Taste is more on the dark malty side, some backingpowder, citrusfruity, christmas cookies. Above average carbonation. Interesting.

Dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Roasted, dark-chocolate aroma. Mildly dank. Grainy. Tastes bitter with a touch of malty sweetness underneath. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Rich, crisp, cereal-like finish. Good. Best of the four we tried at the brewery.

Draft at the source. Pale gold with a hazy, frothy, white head. Aroma promises mixed grains and bubblegum. Bitter in taste with a sourish twist. Simple otherwise, and a bit rough. Drinkable.
