I let this can sit in my cellar for over a year, so take these notes with a grain.
There's a big citrus and tropical fruit nose just pouring from the can. Amber color with a bit of haze, and a sudsy head.
A lot of hop on the tongue, too, and strong alcohol. This can has sat in my cellar longer than an IPA should have, but its extra strength has saved its hop bouquet. Interesting hard candy finish threaded with the alcohol and a bitter aftertaste.

0.355 l can, thanks to my family for this one. Pours clear golden with thick white head. Nose is piney, bitter hops with a touch of metallic notes and some fruits to it. Taste is quite similar; with moderate bitterness, some piney and mellow fruity hops. Closes with short bitter finish, has light body and average carbo. Really sessionable beer, nothing to write home about, but not too bad either.

0.35 l can, thanks to my family for this one. Pours deep copper with thin and long lasting off-white head. Nose is that of a west coast IPA, a combination of reisonous hops and sweet, honey-biscuity malts. In taste the same notes appear with short, faint bitter finish. Surprisingly heavy for a pale ale and has average carbo. Good one, and it’s close to an IPA in many aspects.

4 pack from the LCBO.
Dark orange/copper pour, with a medium off white head. Aroma is orange peel, grapefruit zest, and some nice pine resins. Mouth feel is full, carb is lovey. Finish is medium bitter, bordering on high, with a dominant resinous notes that overpowers any citrus in the end.

this is one of the darkest, thick pours i have ever seen. This is black hole black. a good 1.5 fingers of head. The head is like a dark brown almost reddish on the edges. Aroma is sweet, like liquid chocolate cake, with some chocolate ice cream, with a big cup of roasty espresso. WOW. Flavour is so rich, and loaded with chocolate. wicked roastiness, and lots of coffee in the finish. Mouthfeel is THICK, but super smooth and velvety. THe alcohol warms on its way down, but man is this smooooooooooooth. Quite bitter also, those IBU’s come out, but add some nice depth after the smooth chocolate. Wow, just an amazing stout! I can’t give it a 5, cause i don’t think anything is perfect, but this is damn near close to it!

really nice amber color, thick creamy head, wicked lacing on my glass....looks like glue! Wow, the hops aroma is really nice, and floral. The flavour is huge on the hops, and the malt balances it out really nicely. Very well balanced beer. Wicked stuff, and the 8.7% is nowhere to be found, this is quality beer! I would say this is a DIPA.

12oz can. Very very dark brown pour, nose is ALL malt. Sweet caramel, bready, sticky toffee malt. Faint hops in the flavour a more malt. Some nice caramel corn notes, and maybe some ripe fruits like candied figs. Wow, what a nice beer!

really nice amber color. Nice white head, that seems to last a bit, good lacing on the glass........aroma is a wonderful balance of malt and hops. The flavour is awesome! Such a big bang of hops, hops and more hops. really nice, and the finish isnt that bitter at all. wow, if i could get this all the time, it would easily be my daily drinker! So smooth, and loaded with flavour, GREAT IPA.
