12oz can. I find Galaxy hops to be rather faded in 2020, but this has a nice pithy, mellow, citrus feel that rings true. Straightforward and easy malt backdrop, this could be thought of as an APA just as easily. Really grew on me as I sipped it, lots of subtle tropical nuances. Easy drinking. Great beer. Hazy moniker is beyond lame is beyond lame at this point, but still an awesome beer.

16oz can form the brewery. Nice looking thick brown burgundy body. Thin, fading head. Boozy, fruity aroma..intense. Rum is the dominant flavor component to me, so much so that it covers up a lot of the Quad nuances. Tasty, slow sipper. A little overbarreled to me, tastes like they dumped a bottle of rum in it. Port is distant and hard to decipher. Rather brutal at first. Smooth thick malt tones. Unique, but perhaps taken a little too far. Grew on me as I sipped at it.

Tap at Good City. Thick, opaque, orange-tan body. Steady, pillowy head. Sabro adds the faint coconut pineapple tone. Mosaic and Sultana surround it with even more juiciness, but even bigger lupulin. Serious World Class hop depth. Perhaps a hint of hop burn, but pretty forgiveable for some a hop display.

16oz can. Solid New England IIPA. Fuzzy peach tones, touch of lime. Really well balanced, easy drinking for the ABV. A lot more hop depth than most IPAs of any sort. Creamy tangerine finish. Excellent beer.

16oz can from the brewery canned the day before. Booming dank fresh aroma. Hyper juicy fresh hop tone, like the first time I ever had a really fresh Zeelander, but probably even better. Drinks exceptionally clean for the ABV. World Class, phenomenal beer. The oat and wheat are well balanced for the style, thickening it out but not too floury or chunky.

Really beautiful stuff. The rum and port barrels play off each nicely, but at only 6 months aging it does feel a tad young. Give it some more. Seek the risk.
