Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweetish malt, thick oats, yeast, sweet ripe fruits, dried fruits, caramel, clove, notes of vegetables (DMS), a bit syrupy. Flavour is quite sweet and light bitter with a touch of booze. Body is medium. Clumsy with cloying sweetness, not good.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, cold coffee, touch of cocoa, coffee grounds. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium with a little creaminess. Could be a bit fuller but as it stands, this is a tasty Coffee Porter.

Tap at Rotterdam bierfestival. Deed mahogany with dark pink head. Sweet cherries, vanilla, toffee, cinnamon, gingerbread. I don't get any stout notes. Solid sweet, light bitter. Over medium bodied

330ml can. Black pour with tanned head. Aroma and taste of dark roasted malt, smoked wood, dark chocolate, faint hint of blackberry. Drying medium body and carbonation. Slightly earthy. A moderate sweetness offsets the rich malts somewhat but this is still a bit of a sipper for a sub 5% beer.

At Locus International from menu & poured behind bar from can/bottle. It's dark brown in colour with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of fruit, caramel, toffee, pine, honey & malt. Medium body. Light bitter finish.
