7/8/2019. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear and almost colourless with no head. Aroma of caramelised pears, vanilla, green apples and light woody notes. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation.

200ml bottle sample from minutemat, cheers Mat! Pale yellow golden colour, no head and aroma of quince & pear. Taste is boozey, juicy pear, quince jelly, floral fruity citrus notes, sweet and fleshy. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweetish finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample thanks to Lolschtrinker. Pours very pale green, aroma is sweet perry pear, quince. Im assuming quince is used here, its fairly rich, sweet with a distant woodiness, wine-like oily feel, drinks well. Not bad.

75cl bottle. A clear yellow colour. Aroma of dry moderate pears and some apples. Taste of dry and moderate strong pears, some apples, minimal boozy.

Bottle from Rewe in Mainz. Fresh fruity nose. The Perry starts fresh and sweetish, not as deep or art as the Quitten-Wein. Smooth fruity sessionable in the end. Nice but not very complex.

Bottle from Rewe in Mainz. Fresh tart intense quinces in the nose. The perry starts fruity dry. Very tart with lots of quinces. Deep and intense fruity, nice dry and round. Very nice.
