Pours gold with a fading white head.Nose shows honey and soft floral and spicy hops. Not too bad.Similar flavours. Some bready malt and spicy hops. Afterwards some stale cardboard notes show up.Body feels a bit watery.

Bottle. Amber with an inch of white head. Aroma is bready with mild floral and spice notes. Promising. A little on the watery side. Taste is sweet and grainy with dull bitterness. Some pepper at the end, but the promising hop notes in the aroma are swamped by erm... classic Oz lager notes. Just OK.

(bottle) Clear coppery gold, no head. Aroma is grassy metallic hops with slight sweet stone-fruit hint. Light body, excellent carbonation. Great flavour although fairly restrained - starts slightly sweet with some interesting complexity and has a nice long fairly bitter finish. Overall a very nice beer.

From a 330ml bottle on 16/1/2012. Pours a clearish deep golden, with a small head. The aroma is all malt, which follows through in the taste at the start. There’s strong caramel notes and some toffee as well. There’s quite a bit of sweetness but it’s nicely moderated by some zesty hop bitterness. A very solid brew.
