Bottle split at the 9.49 CBC boost tasting, Clerko, 03/06/15 thanks to the Wingman. Slow gusher. Dark mahogany brown with a big old tan covering. Nose is light roast, toffee, spice, hint of coffee, charr. Taste comprises dark fruit notes, toffee, earthy tones, light spice, cocoa, wood tinge. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close. So so, pretty basic, over carbed - mild infection?

Bottle thanks to the Wingman. It pours cloud deep brown with a massive beige head. The nose is soft, toffee, earthy roast, miscellaneous tang, cocoa and fudge. The taste is toasty, earthy, wood, caramel, toffee, ash, pine, some astringency, minerals and a generic fruity vibe. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. There is a feeling that there might be a bit of infection kicking off here. Not sure on this one.
