(Bottle) Brownish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, slightly boozy, nose with notes of dried fruit, figs, dates, oak wood, rum, caramel, honey, vanilla, hazelnuts and chocolate. Malty, vinous, sweetish taste with dried fruit, figs, dates, oak wood, rum, vanilla, caramel, syrup, hazelnuts, sweet liquorice, cinnamon, chocolate and a mild spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Almost full body, sweet. Rich, strong and warming, with a good splash of rum. Very nice.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque dark brown - borderline black - with a lacing, beige head. Aroma of molase, dark drid fruits and a slight roastiness. Rich, malty body, slightly roasty, some chocolate and licorice with a warming finish with subtle bitterness. Sort of a borderline Stout. 021125
