On tap at Brewers Bar Bar - Tredje Långgatan, pours a clear dark orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma has lots of bready malt, toasted caramel, some toffee, and even some resinous hops. Flavour is complex and well-balanced, with lots of caramel malt, toffee, resinous hops, and bready notes. Great malt character and good depth. Excellent.

On tap at The Bishops Arms Malmö Plaza. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Herbal grass, dry caramel on the nose. Flavour has dried straw, dry caramel, some dried berries. Great dry barley wine.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear deep golden, small head. Earthy grapefruit aroma. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Firm, bready malt, earthy grapefruity hops. Long bitter finish with evident warmth.

On tap at Oliver Twist. Pours clear gold with a white head. Dry, herbal grass and pale malts on the nose. Flavour has dry grassy, cracker malts; crisp and refreshing. Good carbonation. Very nice.

Pours clear copper red with a small head. Malty aroma with notes of toffee, oak casks and Calvados. Flavour is toffee, oak casks and boozy Calvados. The boozines took me by surprise! I’ve had way stronger beers that been a lot smoother.
