Description
Ganley and Naish Cider was founded in 2011 by two friends, Steve and Andy in a back garden in Totterdown.

Each year valuable lessons have been learnt, the target amount of cider has increased and subsequently the equipment required to achieve the goal has been improved.

500ml bottle via Scrattings. Pours a deep hazed amber brown, small ring atop. Good fruity Dabinett on the nose. Taste presents a nice Dabinett showcase with a smooth farmhouse fuzz backed up with some good firm tannins. Nice fruity Dabinett sv.

75cl bottle from Scrattings. Pours misty pale gold, funky nose. Gentle wild character, high juice with firm tannins from the Yarlington Mill. Nice easy sipper with subtle depth of flavours, drying close.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Pours golden amber with a light mist. Fruity fleshy apple nose. Scrumpy leanings with subtle sour nods, full and fruity with orchard must and welcome tannins. Good characterful medium dry.

500ml bottle @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours a misty orange. Aroma has good juicy bittersweet apple fruit. Taste continues in a juicy medium sweet direction, with a welcome astringency and light acidic linger. Like it.

Bottle from Brendan's Brewtique, Bristol. Orangey-brown, with slight carbonation. Some deep, dry apple juice character, with skins and cores, a rustic yeastiness and lingering, bittersweet finish. An excellent cider.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Hazy orange golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of woody funky apple. Taste is mellow fruity apple, bittersweet, woody, tangy funk, leathery and earthy tannins. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry slightly tart tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

500ml bottle. 5.3%. Hazy orangey gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and tangy apple aroma. Taste is apple, musty, wood, straw, some funk and tartness. Light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK

500ml bottle. Orangey golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, woody. Taste is bittersweet apple, alittle apple skin & funk, with woody oak and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
