(Bottle) Pours clear pale amber gold with the tiniest hint of white head. Pleasant honey aroma. Light body with bright, slightly fizzy carbonation. Taste starts with honey and floral notes. A lemon tartness develops as the honey notes reduce. Dry, refreshing, interesting, maybe a bit odd.

330ml bottle from Plonk, Canberra. 7.2%. Pale yellow gold colour, short-lived thin white foam head and woody whisky aroma. Taste is tart apple, woody oak with vanilla, caramel, boozy, whisky, and abit solventy. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy woody finish. Quite OK.

330ml bottle from Oak Barrel, Sydney. 5.1%. Gusher on opening. Orangey reddish colour, pinkish foam head that dissipates away to a thin layer and tart blackerry & apple aroma. Taste is funky horseblanket, sour apple, lemon rind, with tart fruity blackberry notes. Foamy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy sour finish. Nicely drinkable.

330ml bottle from Oak Barrel, Sydney. Slightly hazy amber colour, white foam head and floral, fruity, citric, berry hop aroma. Taste is sweetish honey, lemon rind, some caramel, fruity blackberry & blackcurrant hop, then spicy, tangy, earthy boozy with lingering bitterness. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Nicely sippable.
