About
Met veel passie en trots brouwen wij sinds 2012 allerlei smaakvolle bieren in onze ambachtelijke brouwerij te Drachten. Zowel onze eigen bieren als diverse specials voor derden.

In 2020 verhuisden wij naar de huidige locatie aan de Oosterstraat. Met de ervaring die we hadden, hebben wij onze installatie in dit pand zo ingericht dat we nóg beter grip hebben op het brouwproces. Zo blijft de smaak van onze bieren meer consistent zoals ze zijn bedoeld.

De naam van onze brouwerij is ontleend aan het ontstaan van het dorp Drachten in Friesland, dat in de 17e eeuw is gevormd uit de dorpen Noarder-Dragten en Zuider-Dragten.

Huge, dense, yellow head over fully hazy orange beer. Hops with lots of exotic fruit; pineapple, passion fruit, lychee, grapefruit but also banana and citrus. Fruity-bitterish flavour on sweet malt & fruit, mainly citrus. Creamy MF; feels rather better bodied than expected. Nice! 7/4/7/4/14

33cl bottle from a trade with ShivanDragon, thanks Edwin! Gusher! A black beer with a huge good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee and liquorice. taste of liquorice, dark roasted malt, coffee, roasted bitter finish.

from bottle @LentebierFestival Leeuwarden 2018, tranquil pour from bottle therefore not so hazy as desired, white head. aroma is subtle fruity, some orange, straw, hay, citrus, orange, however due to the fact the bottle date was Januari and now it's March, the beer isn't as fresh as intedend, and that's exactly what this beer lacks, some freshness. still quite some fruity flavors of orange, grapefruit, straw/hay, grass, still ok, --- Beer merged from original tick of Hazy Moet 'ie Weezy on 18 May 2018 at 11:46 - Score: 7

Gefeliciteerd dit is wellicht de winnaar in het klassement 'lelijkste bieretiket' en tevens winnaar in het klassement "Meest onnozele naam voor een bier" ... schenkt geel/gouden met witte kraag. Aroma van mout, gist, zoet, citrus, zwak hoppig, Het bevat in ieder geval véél té véél koolzuur, koriander, mout, redelijk wat gist, sinaasappelschil, zacht, zwakke body, overal ...zucht... en weer door... --- Beer merged from original tick of Noarder Dragten Bierr on 18 May 2018 at 10:16 - Score: 5

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A almost black beer with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of liquorice, sweet dark malt, chocolate. Taste of dark roasted malt, chocolate, liquorice, mild bitter hops, okay!

Sampled from bottle at Gouda Winterbier 2018. Dark brown with light tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, vanilla sugar. Big sweet and deep bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation.
