BIAB at Ciderdog 2023, Miller London. Hazy pale gold colour, no head and aroma of pulpy apple, fruity. Taste is sweet, apple, core & skin, with fruity acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium fruity acidic finish. Quite drinkable

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours rather pale, slightly opaque, transparent, with no foam. Aroma had a nice little funkiness, but also a little of burned charcoal. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately sour, acidic, with a hint of sweetness. Final is average.

330ml can. Slightly unclear pale yellow green, lots of suspended sediment. Aroma is funky, sweet apples, tannins. Taste of sweet apples, floral, tannins, light funk, a bit of booze, medium dry finish.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a murky dark red with no head. Aroma has crisp red skinned apples. In the mouth it is mainly sweet (not overly so) but there is sharpness there if you search for it. Flavour has juicy red cherries to the fore, but also apples in the background. I don’t normally go for fruit ciders, but this is decent.

Can(?) at Carnivale Brett, Amsterdam. As Eclosion Series Rosette. Amber hazy color, small white head. smells apples, bit funky, leathery, subtle pears, parfumy, very nice smell. full body, no carbonation. tastes apples, pears, tannins, minerals, grassy, bit of oak. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of apples, minerals and tannins. Good stuff,nice complexity and dryness

On tap (BIB) at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a cloudy very pale grapefruit. The aroma has sweet apples and sugar. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with flavour of apples, oranges and (after a while) a hint of cherries. Some alcoholic strength evident too. Finish is appley and slightly boozy. I don’t normally go for sweet cider, but this is nice.

On tap at The Evening Star, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out juicy, pithy stone fruits and crisp apple skins. Flavour is sweet and juicy, with juicy stone fruits, apple juice, a hint of citrus and medium sweetness. Reasonably done for what it is but too sweet and lacking depth. It's alright.

On tap at The Evening Star, pours a clhazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp apple skins, perfumey notes, floral notes and booze. Flavour is perfumey, with apple skins, perfume and fusel alcohol. Messy and sweet. Not a well-calibrated cider. Hot and messy.
