Bottle 33 cl. Nice appearance. Tastes like a nice German style Weiss bier. Very drinkable in the summer

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, amber beer with a decent beige head. Cellar, dried fruits and a touch of caramel in the aroma. A bit papery mouthfeel, medium bodied, with flavors of cellar, caramel and dried fruits. Cellar and dried fruits in the finish. A decent dubbel, but there’s lots of beers better than this one. 100522

Hazy yellow, small white head. Yeasty and peppery nose. Fruity, slightly peppery flavor. Some alcohol in the finish. Also grassy notes. Lingering bitterness.

Bottle in Leiden. Aroma of grain and sweet malts. Dark golden colour, stable white head. The flavour starts off a bit watery with some fresh white bread. Finishes with a hint of bitter hops and a rubbery feel. Not bad, though. High carbonation and swelling mouthfeel.

Clear orange-gold; fine white head. Sweet, liqueurish , faint fruity, pineapple pie. Dull-sweet taste, like a tin can of pineapple slices that has been forgotten - for a decennium or so. Gets very cloying. Some caramel. Cloying, but not really well bodied. Very disappointing, home-brew like. De Proef ???
