A relatively light bodied IPA with a fairly bitter hop profile dominating the more floral notes. An easy way to get 6.1% into you.

Schooner on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Black beer with a thin white head. Light coffee and liquorice nose. Served too cold (as always). Nice stout, solid, lightly bitter with a fruity finish.

From a 375ml can on 29/3/2019. Pours a cloudy golden with a biggish white head. Has a slight zesty citrus nose. In the mouth, the blood orange is there in spades, with lots of bitter peel at the back. The bitterness is very pronounced for the style. It's very juicy, but a touch lacking in sweetness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Okay but could use a bit sweet/bitter balance.

Pint on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Hazy orange beer with a thin white head. Good lacing. Biscuity malt and orange peel on the nose. Light and drinkable, slight zing. Finish is bitter orange. Very nice, dangerously easy to drink.

Sampled from the tap at The Taphouse. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grass and a growing citrus presence with a grain note underlying. Flavor has citrus and a bit of dank tropical fruits with light sweet grains backing.

From a 1 litre Growler (can) from the brewery on 16/1/2019 (Xmas present from Desmond with thanks). Pours a clear golden with a medium head. The nose is fairly muted - a bit malty with some caramel. It's more assertive taste wise, with loads of malt sweetness - caramel, toffee and brown sugar, which is set off against a moderate bitterness which suits the beer quite well. The texture is slightly syrupy and the carbonation moderate. Simple but very pleasant drinking.

A ripping DIPA from everyone's second favourite Canberra brewery. Heaps of pine, peach, honey and salt aromas. It's a resinous palate that's dominated by the pine, but accompanied by a good malt backbone.
