5/2/2020. Bottle courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Poured clear pale gold, quite flat with a few short lasting bubbles. Aroma of citrus, baked apples and a slight touch of spice. Moderate sweetness, medium tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, still carbonation. Dry, tart, slightly acidic vinegary finish.

500ml bottle, thanks to Danlo! Pours misty pale yellow, thin bubbly ring atop. Taste is pretty dry, light sulphur, soft acidity, pure juice, fairly thin in terms of fruitiness but the juice is there. Not bad.

Danke an danlo. Keine Karbonisierung. Süffiger, mild säuerlicher Beginn von Äpfeln und Birnen. Weiche, dadurch insgesamt etwas langweilig. Milde Würzigkeit, trockener Hintergrund, wässriger Abgang. Interessant aber nicht unbedingt gut. 9/8/8/8/13/8

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Pale gold with no head and little carbonation. Light, fresh apple juice aroma with a hint of flinty minerals. Full-bodied, yet light flavoured, with some tart, stewed apple, trace of spice and dryish boozy finish, with an aftertaste of apple skins. An unusual cider and worth trying, I wonder what apples it was made from.
