As Grunn Goudhaantje Klassieke Pils. Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple. Beer in the glass with a small head. Starts mild, fine malty, spicy. Light metallical background. Shy bitterness. Finish could be a bit more balanced. Okay.

0.33 l bottle from 'coop', best before September 2024. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, malty and a little yeasty aroma of molasses, raisins, cherry, some marzipan and hints of clove. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity, slightly roasty and minimally yeasty taste of caramel, cherry, raisins, chocolate, some marzipan and light clove, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not a bad one!
