33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 03/2029 Aroma has sweet malt, licorice, some soy sauce. Also chocolate notes typical to pastry stouts. Flavour has some odd fruit juice tones, some grapefruity hops, saltyish licorice, some ash, soy sauce tones. Good, could be even better with less hops. They're overriding too much of the delicious pastry stout aromas.

A small taste from a friend (tap) @ Craft Beer Helsinki Wanha Satama 2024. Pours hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is sweet malts, juniper, tropical fruits. Flavor is sweet malts, tropical fruits, juniper, banana, hops. Decent but not sahti.

Smell of spruce, hops, some sweet malt. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of spruce, sweet malt, faint cream. Finishes with dried fruit. Medium carbon. Starts bitter, finishes sweet.

0,33l bottle from Alko Joensuu, enjoyed @ home. Pours clear copper with a low head. Aroma is sweet malts. Flavor is sweet malts with some oak, alcohol, hops. Not great barley wine, which still makes it almost great beer.
