Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Very dark brown, lasting tan head. Really tasty dunkel, lots of roasted malt, but not heavy in mouth. Moderate intensity and a good lasting tasty finish. Good stuff.

Drauight at GBBF 2007. Pleasant chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Very decent IPA. Not as OTT as the Americans I’ve had today. PIney, but it’s pretty good.

Draught at Black Door, Helsinki. Clear pale amber, small head. Citric hoppy nose. Dry with crisp mouthfeel and fairly light body. Citric hops dominate, crisp malt stays in the ackground. Orangey finish with medium bitterness. Hugely drinkable aromatic IPA.

Dark amber color. Dry mouthfeel, caramel taste and good smoked malt. Quite strong bitterness. I prefer sweeter Smoked beers, anyway this one is good as well.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A pitch black beer with a lasting orange-brown head. The aroma is quite hoppy combined with notes of grass and grapefruit, as well as light notes of chocolate. The flavor is very complex with notes of citrus, hops, and chocolate, leading to an with notes of grapefruit. Like hop soup with chocolate.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A brown beer with no head. The aroma is a weird sweet herbal one - like medicin. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke and herbs, as well as some medicin, leading to a light dry end. Some nice notes and some very weird things going on here - I really can’t make up my mind about this beer.

Draught@Plevna. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white creamy head, which vanishes quite quickly. Fudge, toffee and some fruits in aroma. Caramellish malts and toffee in flavour. Some strong vanillaish hints also closer to finish. Welldone and pleasant. After reading sayravai’s rating, I’m not sure the recipe is the same as last year. Their webpages also say a "new seasonal beer" and in finish "Vanilla is also added as speciality". 7 3 7 4 14 (Rated Nov 12, 2006).
Re-rate as of Dec 9th: Must be another keg now, since there was some really disturbing spicyness, that wasn’t in the one from November. 6 3 6 4 12
