Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours slightly hazy light amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with malty and estery notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with malty and estery notes and touches of grass. Bitter and estery aftertaste with citric hints. Reasonable, but the palate is rather thin, as is the body.

12 ounce can. Opaque dark brown color. Large, frothy dark tan head. Roasted malt nose is redolent of pecans and toffee. Flavor is bittersweet, roasted malt. Notes of toffee, pecans and dark chocolate. Medium bodied. Lots of bitterness on backend. Could be better with a touch more sweetness and creaminess.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a white head and good retention. Very little lacing. Light bread aroma. Thick bready malt flavor to match the aroma. Tastes more like a blonde ale versus a festbier to me. Clean and smooth. Medium body. Good carbonation. Low bitterness.

Caramel malt and grass aroma. Golden yellow with large off-white head and mild effervescence. Mildly sweet milk caramel malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Good body. Solid.

On tap at BrewDog Franklington (Columbus), pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out an earthy, medium roast character, with soft cocoa and even softer coconut. Flavour is on the dry side for a coconut/pastry stout, with earthy roast, soft cocoa and medium roast. Balanced and sturdy. Thought of as more like a session coconut stout, it works pretty well; but as an imperial stout, it leaves something to be desired. Good.

On tap at BrewDog Franklington (Columbus), pours a clear blonde with a small white head -- not remotely hazy-like in appearance. Aroma has some very strange, undesirable qualities -- diacetyl? -- with an earthy, fungal, armpit-like hop character -- ugh, this ain't pleasant. Flavour is bizarre, with earthy hops, some weird medicinal sweetness, and maybe some diacetyl. This is messed up in some way, but I scratch my head at how. Unpleasant.

On tap at BrewDog Franklington (Columbus), pours an opaque cloudy peach colour with no head. Aroma smells like a smoothie, with heaps of mango and peach puree, and lots of sweet lactose. Flavour is like a sour fruit smoothie, with tons of peach, mango and passionfruit puree, sweet lactose, and medium-high acidity. Tastefully done for what it is. It's a fun beery smoothie with tons of fruit and sweetness that is held in check by the tartness. Good.

On tap at BrewDog Franklington (Columbus), pours a clear golden with a small white head -- doesn't look like a hazy at all. Aroma brings out lots of stone fruits, citrus hops, and some sweet tropical notes. Flavour is sweet, fruity and hoppy, with lots of sweet tropical stone fruits dominating, followed by more subdued hops, some alcohol, and just enough biscuity malt backbone. Very fruity and on the sweet side without being malty. Good stuff.

On tap at BrewDog Cleveland, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma is loaded with coconut, marshmallow, and cocoa with almost no roast. Flavour is very sweet, with intense marshmallow and coconut upfront, followed by lactose and cocoa. Cloyingly sweet but drinkable enough in minuscule quantities. Fun sweet, adjunct bomb.

On tap at BrewDog Cleveland, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and biscuity malt in good balance, with a touch of dankness. Flavour is dank and piney in the hop department, seeming much aggressive than the UK version, with an oily mouthfeel and crisp biscuity malt base. Very dank and piney. Good stuff.
