Can from Tesco in Rickmansworth, Herts. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, roasty, malty, chocolate, coffee aroma and taste. Very smooth and creamy, really easy to drink. Very nice imperial stout.

Can from Tesco Inverurie. It pours jet black with a thick, dense tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, creamy coffee vibes, toasty, milky, chocolate, mocha and a touch of charcoal. The taste is thick and creamy upfront, bitter - sweet, roasted malt, dark fruits, toasty brown sugars, chocolate milk, decent hit of coffee, definite mocha character, sweet chocolate gateaux, biscuit, maltesers, Mars bar and minimal alcohol with a sticky, sweet mocha finale. Medium+ body, dense, foamy carbonation and velvety mouth - feel. Has a lovely rich mouth feel. On the sweeter side perhaps, but I like the balance it achieves for more of a dessert beer.

Oh boy, the first rating of an NA beer. $1.80 can from WW. Dark brown, almost black with a soft tan head- looks like a real beer. Chocolate, caramel, hint of floral notes, oats; smells like a real beer. Flavor... ahhh that's where it's off. Cardboard, grain, oats, wheat, cocoa... it has a decent taste, but there's a big chunk missing (not just it's soul, it's just a bit thin). Must admit, this is not bad, and certainly better than some of the junk I've picked up at Kroger. So far, definitely the one that would satisfy me most if I gave up alcohol.
