BIAB at Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2019. Slightly hazy golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of mellow apple, woody, funky, citric. Taste is tangy apple, leathery funk, tart, with citric notes and some tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

At Reading BF. Bought this for a friend whilst he was in the loo, wanted to get him something that sounded like tramp juice to wind him up (his comment on returning was ’are you trying to kill me?!’). Unfortunately the joke backfired somewhat as it took both of us to finish it. It’s pretty rough, frankly. Medium-dry with obvious spirit-like raw alcohol, some varnish from an old dusty wardrobe and, behind all that, a hint of old cider apples. Really harsh. Not a fan.
