33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #32, BBE 24.07.2018
As ”Pihtla Õlleköök Robust Porter”
Aroma has ash, some roastiness and chocolate. Flavour has chocolate, salty licorice and mild ashy tones. Rather rich and nice for this ABV.

On tap at Prgu, pours a hazy dark orangey brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy, spicy spruce upfront, with bready malt. Flavour is similar, with moderately spicy spruce tips upfront, lots of dry earthy rye and bready malt. Dry and spicy. It delivers what it advertises.

Bottle shared @ Koelschtrinker's Tasting. Fresh floral beginning. Easy to drink, herbal piney hints with a nice bitterness in the back. Fresh floral, hints of grain. Easy to drink with a nice floral herbal bitterness on the tongue. Nice one.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before March 2018. Slightly hazy, amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, resiny, spicy and a bit fruity aroma of pine, spruce and some mango. Slightly sweet, rather fruity-resiny and slightly spicy taste of tropical fruits, pine and spruce, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite resiny finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Danke an FatPhil! 9/10/8/9/9/9

Bottle. Pours relatively light copper, cloudy, to a huge head but some skirmish remains for longer. Nose feels a bit oxidised, dishwashing water, some spruce resin, sweet pine needle jam. Taste reveals medium body, lightly tart, especially in these places where you can see spruce manifesting itself. Slick mouthfeel and some long lingering, unbalanced bitterness leading into the finish linger. Overall, yes, I finished this bottle quickly - but not really my thing, probably will not go for a second one.
