Amberkleurig bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van ananans, hars, sinaasappel en mango. Degelijk goede IPA.

Fles thuis. Helder donkergeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitter hoppig met iets van graan en fruit. Een degelijk bier.

33cl bottle from Carrefour market, Rue de Herbesthal in Eupen.
F: big, pale tanned, good retention.
C: dark brown, hazy, opaque.
A: rich malty, caramel, some berries, leaves, bit toast, nutty, dried fruits.
T: full malty base, caramel, nutty, leaves, bit toast, chocolate, dried fruits, light oily mouthfeel, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, quite nice, enjoyed for sure.

Opaque deep brown with a good beige head. Fruity esters, toasted malt, caramel, dried fruits, some hop. Medium dry. Low to light hop bitterness.

Cloudy gold with a huge yellowish head. Stone fruits, yellow plum, spicy yeast, funk, sters, spicy hop. Near to dry. Medium bitterness. Interesting. Good.

75cl bottle from the brewery.
A: hazy golden, small, foamy, off-white head.
A: ripe pear, apricot, banana, jenever, orange zest, dough, clove.
T: sweet pear & apricot, dough, some spices & citrus.
F: floral hops, ripe yellow fruits, phenolic, warming jenever-like alcohol.
P: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation.
What's in a name, of course; it's very much 'old Belgian' but it does the job well.

A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of piney hops, red malt, raisins, caramel. Taste of raisins, dark malt, caramel, toffee, red fruits, tannins.
